Does anyone know a website for short wedding hairstyles?

I am getting married in a week and a half. Being the procrastinator that I am, I have failed to look for a hairstyle. I have short blonde hair, about two inches above my shoulders. It is layered, with the shortest layer at my chin. I will be wearing a tiara and veil. I was planning on wearing it down as well. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Wedding Cake Toppers - A Growing Trend

Wedding cake toppers didn't used to be the highlight of a wedding that they are today. More and more they are becoming as important as the wedding cake itself and is one of the areas that the wedding gifts market is quickly cottoning on to.

Once over, a wedding cake topper just used to be in the form of a generic bride and groom couple. Now, though a bride and groom wedding cake topper can be custom made to your specifications which really makes the wedding cake even more unique and extra special. Cake toppers that are hand crafted from clay or sugar paste can be personalised to look like copies of the newly married couple even right down to their wedding day outfits. Grooms can be shown wearing kilts, military uniforms or their favourite football team kit! Brides can be made wearing their wedding dresses, veils and tiaras and even down to hair styles and the type and colour of flowers used in their bridal bouquet. They can even be themed around the time of year that they are getting married such as Christmas or Valentine´s Day or if it is a beach wedding in some far flung exotic location. They are usually crafted from brushed steel or acrylic and all of the letters of the alphabet and some numbers are available. Monogrammed cake toppers usually include the initials of the bride and groom i.e. ´M & P´. What makes them really special though and what I believe is driving their popularity is that they are hand decorated with Swarovski crystals in a choice of colours to match your wedding theme. These crystal cake toppers really do create the ´wow´ factor sat atop your wedding cake!

There are  wedding cake toppers to suit every taste and every budget and this looks set to be one wedding trend that is set to have some longevity and continue to grow.

How to Choose your Wedding Tiara

Tiaras, also known as diadems, have been around for centuries. Wedding tiaras can be traced back to ancient Egypt, Greece and Rome when tiaras conferred status and honor on the wearer.

Nowadays, tiaras are appropriate for balls, proms, wedding, beauty pageants and coming out parties. Brides continue to wear tiaras with their veil, reveling in its beauty during the ceremony.

The designs on the wedding tiaras are crafted by artistic arrangement of the wires. The stones and embellishments must be set off to best advantage. When you walk down the aisle, you want to look more than a bride; you want to look like a princess.

Your tiara must be elegant and stunning. It must create an overall look that no one can resist. The tiara must finish off your bridal veil, accentuate your hairstyle, frame your face and complement the wedding gown as well. But at the same time it shouldn't be too big or extravagant so as to hide your hairstyle. Select your wedding tiara with care.

If you have a round face and wish to make it appear longer, choose a wedding tiara with some height or one that has a peak. To make a full face appear thinner, wear a tiara that peaks into a V at the top. Those with a long face can opt for a wedding tiara with little or no height that extends from one side to the other at an even height. And for an oval face, avoid tiaras that peak at the top. Wearing a headband, forehead piece or a back piece will make your face a little rounder.

The double headband tiaras are the most versatile of all, as they can be worn flat on the head as a headband, wrapped around a bun or tilted forward in tiara style.

Back piece is used when you want to accentuate your ensemble but don’t want all attention drawn to the accessory. Back pieces work best for a low bun or a French twist.

Comb is a simple piece that complements almost all hairstyles. Depending on the style, it can also provide for a less formal look.

V-band, women with a long face shape would do well to select this style of accessory. It draws attention to the front.

Tiara headbands are a very functional option for those brides who want to wear their hair down. These types of tiaras can be used to keep hair away from the face. It can also be worn to accentuate upswept hairstyles as well. Headband style tiaras can be worn by wrapping it around a bun.
