My site will discuss exclusive party favors, supplies, bridal shower favors, accessories and personalized wedding decorations that create lasting memories of your special event. I will also have specials on wedding favors plus sections on limosines, scrapbooking to even tupperware.

Love My Wedding Favors

My wife and I remember well the process of picking "favors" for our wedding some 30 years ago now. At the time I never new what wedding favors were untill I saw what Leonie had picked out. So please allow me to explain the term "wedding favors" to those of you who were like me

A "favor" is a small gift for the wedding attendees. It's an allegedly useful item that's usually made of glass or metal. (Cheap plastic and light cardboard don't seem special enough for most..) There is often a beautiful ribbon, or sometimes a candle involved in teh favor and it probably has some inscription to commemorate the event or at least a card on wedding stationery.

"Favor", "A small gift given to a guest at a party", is one of the definitions. To my way of thinking, you are not only obligated to your wedding guests on this day of days but you should see the giving of a wedding favor as a sign of you and your new husbands gratitude to your guests for sharing this most memorable day in both your lifes'.

Apparently there are some who see no point to the giving of <a href="http://www.lovemyweddingfavors.com/candle_wedding_favor.html"rel="nofollow" onclick="javascript:pageTracker._trackPageview('/outgoing/article_exit_link');" title="wedding favors">wedding favors and have said it is done just to avoid embarrassing ourselves in front of the Pope or Martha Stewart or whoever else we invited. Unfortuneatly for these people, and I know they are out there, the thought of "giving" is not in their vocabulary. If showing some form of gratitude to your guests is a bad thing then why are they there for you and your new partner at all? Of the top of my head, I can't think of any of my friends or family that would judge us by the quality of the wedding favors, but on the other hand they would appreciate the effort we put into showing our gratitude for them being witness to our most splendid of event.

A common theory already judged helpful from talking to my married friends is that you should agree on a <a href="http://www.lovemyweddingfavors.com/shopindex.html"rel="nofollow" onclick="javascript:pageTracker._trackPageview('/outgoing/article_exit_link');" title="price-per-favor">price-per-favor that is within your wedding budget and it would be something that you would be happy to recieve for yourself at a friends wedding. As an idea on price you would really have to make up your own minds but in general terms anything from 20 dollars up would be acceptable. Truly the sky is the limit. I suppose it really has to do again with the wedding budget. Luckily there are a plethera of wedding favours to choose from on the market today so finding just the right one should be a snap.
Wedding Favors Ideas

Sending your guests home with a little something to remember the night by is a classy touch to any wedding. And they don't have to be over priced gifts to make a lasting impression.
The choice really boils down to, "Do I buy my <a href="http://www.lovemyweddingfavors.com/autumn_wedding_favor.html"rel="nofollow" onclick="javascript:pageTracker._trackPageview('/outgoing/article_exit_link');" title="wedding favors">wedding favors or make them?

You are probably finding out that when it comes to the list of things to do for your wedding, you may already be feeling overwhelmed. So why make another chore for yourself with homemade wedding favors? Favors can be easily purchased then all you have to do is personalize them..

Of course, homemade wedding favors do feel more special. Sachets and small tokens are simple to create in an afternoon. You may even decide to enlist the help of the wedding party or make this a special time for you and your partner.

If you've ever been to another wedding, you may have already seen an asortment of wedding favors which may have included, small bags of candies or nuts decoratively done, small boxes of chocolate with a nice ribbon or card indicating the the couple and wedding date are very nice favors too.

Many couples have chosen to give personalized wedding favors mentioning the bride and groom like match books, candles with holders, champagne glasses, and even CDs can be inscribed with the wedding date as a way to commemorate the day.

If you want to be unique For the non-traditional bride and groom, you may want to give a little something different. If you have a themed wedding, you can try to give a gift that incorporates that theme.

In any case, as I mentioned earlier, the wedding favors are a great way to commemorate a special day for both the bride and groom and their guests. Thank your relatives and friends for supporting you and loving you enough to be with you on this happiest of days.

I really didn’t intend to look like a bag lady at my friend’s wedding. Naples was experiencing a cold snap that weekend and I knew the sunset ceremony would be outside on a terrace. My motive was to keep warm. That is what living in a subtropical climate has done to me. As soon as the temperature dips below 70, while all the tourists frolic on the beach in swimsuits, I bundle up in anything I can ...

Wedding favors have become an important part of the wedding celebration. However, there are some wedding favors your guests will not appreciate receiving at your reception. Lets take a look.

1. Personalized Favors With The Couples Names. Dont get me wrong. Some personalized favors are nice BUT it depends how they are personalized. Wedding favors such as silver photo frames or bells, monogrammed candle favors, and coasters engraved with the happy couples names and dates will never be displayed in your guests home. Why would they? If you are set on personalized wedding favors, choose to personalize the tags or go with a smaller, less expensive personalized favor such as lip balm or note pads. That way you are sure your guests will use and appreciate your wedding favors.

2. Overtly Themed Wedding Favors. For example, did you decide to have an Asian themed wedding or an Irish themed wedding? Thats wonderful and there are many great ways to incorporate your theme into the wedding but leave the favors out of it. Choosing to provide your guests with a themed favor that they dont understand or does not complement their d?r ensures that the favor will go straight into the garbage can when they get home. Choose a more practical wedding favor such as a neutral candle that matches your color theme, a silver bottle stopper or luggage tag. These types of favors are not only practical but elegant as well.

3. Expensive Wedding Favors. Your dream is to have the wedding of the decade. Thats fantastic, but spend your money where it will matter the most to YOU not your guests. By all means provide your guests with a tasteful, elegant wedding favor but unless youre a celebrity, you dont need to spend $10 per favor to achieve that look. Silver wedding favors also look elegant as do wine bottle stoppers. If you are discriminating in your choice of favors, your goal will be achieved.

4. Cheap Wedding Favors. Spend some time looking for a wedding favor that is inexpensive but not cheap looking. Many brides make the mistake of having friends and family make their wedding favors for them. Often this task is rushed to be completed right before the wedding and they look it. There are many wedding favors under $1 or $2 that appear to cost more than they really do. A few great examples are heart cookie cutters, heart bath soaps in a gift box, or sachets.

You want your day to be perfect. Dont choose a wedding favor that will derail your whole plan. Take your time and choose a wedding favor that both you and your guests are sure to love.

Your wedding is special, and it should be shared and enjoyed with all of your loved ones. As a gift of thanks to your friends and families desire to be a part of your “Big Day”, wedding favors boxes are an economical yet intimate way to show your appreciation. Think about the possibilities when you are choosing your wedding favor boxes:

Texture. The possibilities are endless when choosing wedding favor boxes for your guests. While it is not a significant matter, you may want to consider the material when making your final choice.

Paper. Whether cardboard or cardstock, wedding favor products that are made from paper can be both beautiful and troublesome. Plan their transportation ahead of time to prevent squishing, or exposing them to harmful weather like wind and rain.

Plastic. Although less green than paper, plastic is more durable and may be a better choice as a favor when including edible contents such as chocolates or other candies.

Color. Of course, you want to consider the color when deciding upon your decorations. Wedding favor boxes are available in a large variety of styles. Therefore, you have the option to either coordinate with the colors of the wedding reception party or you could use the wedding favor boxes to make a statement to your loved ones.

Coordinating. To synchronize your color selections from the ceremony, compliment coordinating colors for your favor boxes. You may decide to use varying shades of the same colors on each of your reception tables to help guests find their places.

Contrasting. Take advantage of the available styles of favors by branching out and adding a bit of off-the-wall flair to your after-service celebration. You could choose to contrast pastels with primary colors, or perhaps simple black and white favors boxes might fulfill your need.

Design. One of the most difficult decisions when selecting wedding favor boxes is the design. Although some brides will prefer to follow a chosen theme, others may decide to take a different approach to picking the perfect favor.

Personal. To show your guests how much you appreciate their attendance on your ”Big Day”, personalize your favor boxes by monogramming tags with names or initials. Your family and friends will value the time and attention you spent on them.

Conventional. If wedding favor boxes are the smallest of your worries, or your talents, why not consider a simple design of neutral colors. Simple favor boxes accented with exquisite trimmings will make just as bold a declaration as any elaborate design.

Cost. Never a trivial consideration, the pricing will most likely determine which wedding favor boxes are chosen. There are two issues that factor into the favor equation:

Container. Remember that the wedding favor box is only half the cost. When your budget is small, consider purchasing smaller and simpler favors and adding your own trimmings for a personal touch.

Contents. The contents inside your boxes are the second ingredient to your wedding favors. It’s up to you and your budget to decide on how simple or extravagant you wish to make your wedding favors.

You can show your friends and family how much you appreciate them. If you are going to include these select wedding decorations in the celebration of your special day, keep in mind not only the costs and your ceremony’s theme but also your guests. After all, it is your family and friends whom you value as the most significant part of the wedding reception.

Since we were little girls, all of us dream of having a fairy tale wedding. We used to imagine what kind of gown we would want to wear at our wedding, what kind of theme we would want to have and many other things. When the day is actually coming closer, there are so many details to take care of and it could sometimes become rather overwhelming. Choosing where to hold the reception, shopping for the wedding gown, thinking about decorations and arranging food for the guests are just a few of many items that come along with this celebration of love. And of course, all of us want to make our wedding the most memorable wedding for ourselves, families, as well as for the rest of the guests.

Giving out <a href="http://www.IdeasForWeddingFavors.com"rel="nofollow" onclick="javascript:pageTracker._trackPageview('/outgoing/article_exit_link');" target="_blank">wedding favors as a display of true appreciation is a long standing tradition. Everything that is seen at the wedding: from the reception place to the menu, will be certainly enjoyed on this special day. However, it is the wedding favor that will make the wedding to be remembered for a long time. So picking out the right party favor is extremely important. But with a great number of options out there for these little tokens of love and appreciation, sometimes, it could cost a tremendous amount of time to decide which one to choose.

So, where do we start on deciding which wedding keepsake to choose? Here are some pointers to help us decide the right favors for our guests. By determining the theme and personality of the wedding beforehand, picking the appropriate wedding favors should be as easy as an ABC.

Flowers, Flowers, Flowers! What is something that is most remembered about the wedding besides the brides’ gown and the food? Of course, flower arrangements – since they primarily define the theme of the wedding – Remember that different flowers represent various meanings of love. By choosing something like charming calla lilly bouquet candles, calla lily photo frames or even calla lilly design napkin holders as a favor can accent the symbols of beauty and exquisiteness of the <a href="http://www.BlueRainbowDesign.com"rel="nofollow" onclick="javascript:pageTracker._trackPageview('/outgoing/article_exit_link');" target="_blank">wedding. A traditional yet timeless long stem rose crystal can enhance the elegance and romance of the magnificent wedding. Or if we want to intensify passion and exoticism, orchids gel candles or scented orchid-shape soap will be one of the most appropriate favors to share this special moment of your life.

If we are one of the practical types, we may want to start our wedding favors selection by thinking about practical items such as key chains, coasters, CD cases and many more. One good thing about choosing practical wedding favors is that the guests will be using them often, and thus, our wedding will be remembered every time they use the favors we handed out. But some of us may think that practical items may not be as lovely as other decorative favors. We could, for sure, scratch that idea since there are so many items with sophistication and perfection. Who can deny a cute sandal shaped notepad that can go with a beach theme or even a chic jewelry pouch; not to mention a sweet pair of silver pear shaped salt and pepper shaker that could definitely leave our guests in awe.

But wait. There are more to come. Some of us even want to go beyond the most common favors simply because we want to add more fun and attitude to the splendor of this ceremony. For instance, those who have passion for western theme could choose a shooter charm that enriches a personal touch of entertainment. Or perhaps choosing a unique ethnic theme such as a coaster painted with the word "love" in Chinese or Spanish will make the favors more exclusive and meaningful.

In short, most of us may think that choosing an affordable wedding favor can be time consuming. But it does not have to be that much work once we have some tips on where to start. Always remember that it is the company of friends and family that make a wedding memorable. Rewarding those who come to share your special day with a thoughtful favor gift is a wonderful way to show your appreciation.
