were can I find a crinoline petticoat?

I bought a vintage 50's 3/4 length dress for my wedding reception. The color of the dress is like the color of a penny and I would like to find a petticoat similar in color. Does anyone know of any sites were I can find one? Any and all help will appreciated. Thanks

Traditionally petticoats are white, but color never killed anyone. First nearly every formal petticoat is white or black (as mentioned before usually white). So if you are looking for a special color you will likely have to dye it yourself (Links below). But before you can do that you have to have the petticoat. If you want anyone to really see it go with a net petticoat not a hoop skirt. Pick your fullness carefully, for a net petticoat it is better to get it a little to full than not full enough. A worn net petticoat will feel the effects of gravity over time and should even out. I bought my last petticoat from Mygowns.com, they where pretty fast (less than a week), but there are other retailers out there.
