In this hairstyle, the veil would be placed in the middle of the hair -- in the crown. The tiara would go in front of the updo, behind the bangs. The side profile is "Empress," however, the front shows a high top of curls. It can be viewed as elegant or excessive. The veil is one layer, so the hair can be seen behind it.
