Anti Static Spray - Whenever I wear a skirt with tights and especially with a slip?

they cling and ride up as I walk/move. Does anyone have a remedy for it? I have seen this spray on the internet but was wondering whether anyone has tried it or knows if it works.

The static charge is caused by the rubbing of materials that are man-made. This charge is normally leaked to earth through your feet. Lots of shoes have plastic soles and so are excelent insulators and so the charge builds up and bits of clothing stick to you.

The linings of skirts and slips if made from man made materials will be attracted to the charge that is building up in your body as it can't leak away. So either change to leather soled shoes, or silk slip/skirt linings.

Also you will notice this effect will vary depending upon the weather. Damp days the effect should not be as noticable as the dry ones. Air conditioned rooms are very dry and make the problem worse.
