• Presents a wedding gown to its greatest potential because designers intend a bridal dress to be worn with a bridal petticoat (it would be extremely helpful of them to highlight this because modern women do not, as a rule, have a bottom draw full of wedding petticoats).

For all the benefits that a bridal petticoat offers to the look of a bride on her wedding day, perhaps, a bridal petticoat should be on a wedding wear wish list, or at least be considered an essential item of wedding lingerie. One, possibly, that no bride would contemplate looking her best without one.
